You can use any of the hair removal techniques from the various options that are available. Some are painful, some are costly and some are time consuming. Here we bring you a few hair removal techniques. You can use most of the techniques at home but if you are not confident then you can go to a clinic.
Waxing
This is the most widely used hair removal techniques. Waxing involves applying either hot wax or cold wax on the areas that you want to rid of your hair. The waxing method is a painful one but it makes your skin clean and smooth and soft. However, if you feel any discomfort you can apply anesthetic on the area. There might be a little swelling and your skin will have a red color.
Shaving
This is another common method amongst the hair removal techniques. For this you need an electric razor or the regular one with disposable heads, a shaving gel, foam or lotion and warm water for a shower. Ensure that you do not use cheap razors as they can cause nicks, burning sensations and soreness of the skin. For regular shaving it is a good practice to use the electric razor and if you plan it to use it in the shower or bath make sure they are waterproof so that you do not get electrocuted.
Laser
This is a painless hair removal technique that many are going in for. In this hair removal treatment laser energy is used for burning and destroying your hair follicles. This method is costly as you need to go through multiple treatments but you can get permanent solution from your hair problems. Before you go in for the laser treatment, consult a physician. For some, laser treatment may result in permanent removal of hair but for some this may not be the case. Lasers are less painful than electrolysis and you can have long lasting effects. It is advisable to avoid sunlight during the healing period.
Bleaching
This hair removal technique is meant to lighten the color of your hair resembling that of your skin which is not noticeable. This lasts for about 2 or 3 weeks.
Electrolysis
This is another permanent hair removal solution that many opt for. It is mostly done by professionals where each hair is removed separately. This is a time consuming method which may take six treatments before the process is completed.
Depilatory Lotions and Creams
You can use these creams and lotions which give a smooth effect after the hair removal procedure and it does not stimulate the hair follicles.
Epilators
Here you can use machines that will pull your unwanted hair along with the roots. This lasts from 1 to 6 weeks.
