The major problem with these sites, however, is that the designs are often quite basic and are commonly found on a lot of other websites so they are not exactly unique.

The better websites have an extensive database consisting of thousands of different designs in a number of different categories which are of the very highest quality. This is because a lot of them have been submitted by some of the top tattoo artists from around the world, who of course get compensated for their efforts. These websites usually charge a small one-off fee to access their galleries but this is definitely a price worth paying if you are looking for top quality designs.
