Reasons You May Get Fired

Have you ever been fired from a job before? It doesn't feel really good. It can be from being sick a lot, not having a ride to work, job cuts, and other things, too. When this happens, you have to find another job so you can put food on the table and so you can pay your bills. Your power can be shut off and you can lose your house if you have not found another job. It can hurt your family and put a lot of stress on you. You can go into debt and ruin your credit. You might have to go into bankruptcy, and you will have to go into court just to keep the things you have, that is if you find another job.
You might have to go far from home just to find one. It can be 30 to 50 miles away. That adds up to 60 to 100 miles both ways, and that is far to drive. You will use a lot of gas everyday just to get to work. If gas is high, you are in trouble because you may not be able to afford it, but you have to do it to get paid. If you get sick and you miss a lot of days, then they may replace you because you are taking too much time off and they don't want to wait on you. They may fire you for that reason and some of them may lie and say that you quit or lie about something else. Some jobs think that you need to come to work even if you are really sick because they want their stuff done right away, and that is not right. They tell you not to come into work if you are sick but some really don't mean that. They just say that so you will work hard and so they will not get in trouble.
If you don't have a ride to work, they get mad and they will fire you, even if you are trying to find one because you can't be there when they say you have to be. This means if you are not there in an 30 minutes or an hour, you are gone and they don't care whether you were trying to get there or not. If you get fire due to a job cut, there is nothing you can do about it because they can't afford you to work there.
